Accessibility statement.

This website

The site is built to be operable without a mouse and without JavaScript. Every page has a skip link, one main heading, semantic landmarks and a visible focus indicator that is never removed. Interactive targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels. Status and error messages carry text, never colour alone. Motion is minimal and is disabled entirely for anyone whose system requests reduced motion.

Body text is set at a 17-pixel minimum and scales with your browser settings. Images carry descriptive alternative text. Form fields have persistent visible labels, not placeholder-only labels, and validation errors are announced and keep everything you have typed.

What we have tested

Keyboard operation, focus order and visibility, heading structure, landmark structure, target sizes, reduced-motion behaviour, form labelling and error handling, and responsive layout from 430 to 1440 pixels.

What we have not yet done

This site has not been through a formal independent WCAG 2.2 audit or screen-reader testing across the full range of assistive technologies. We are not claiming a conformance level we have not verified. When that audit is complete we will state the result here, including anything that fails.

Accessibility at a residency

The property is a working rural setting with uneven ground, outdoor fire and variable weather. Some parts of a residency involve walking on unmade surfaces. We would rather discuss access requirements properly at enquiry stage than manage them on arrival. Tell us what you need and we will tell you honestly what is and is not workable.
