Private Group Stay
Two nights. Entirely yours.
Your group has the property to itself. The setting, the food, the drinks and the pace are arranged before you arrive.
Who it is for
Couples, family or friends travelling as one private group.
Four to six guests is where the hosting, the table and the property all work best. Up to eight can be accommodated by arrangement, depending on rooming and how the weekend is put together.
The property is yours for the two nights. Nobody else is booked in, and the pace is set around the people who are there.

Day one
Arrive, and be welcomed.
Rooms prepared, luggage handled. The afternoon opens with a Welcome to Country, Smoking Ceremony and storytelling led by Yanaga Murru, then drinks and refreshments, then dinner.
Day two
The hosted day.
Time in the landscape, the pool and tennis court if you want them, botanical hospitality as the light goes, and a long seasonal dinner. Fire and conversation after.
Day three
Breakfast, then go slowly.
A cooked breakfast and an unhurried departure. There is no invented final-morning programme. The time is deliberately left open.
Most groups arrive on a Friday, though the days are yours to nominate, and times shift through the year with the daylight. The cultural opening always comes first, and drinks begin after it, never during.

What is included
Every part is named.
Your proposal lists exactly who is doing what, what each part costs, and what is optional. Nothing is left to be assumed.
The cultural opening, the drinks and the food are each delivered by an independent partner. Anything beyond the opening, such as a corroboree or boomerang throwing, is arranged directly with Yanaga Murru and costed separately.

Practical questions.
How many people can come?
Four to six guests is where the hosting, the table and the property all work best. Up to eight can be accommodated by arrangement, depending on rooming and how the weekend is built.
Is anyone else on the property?
No. The property is yours for the two nights and nobody else is booked in.
How long is the drive?
A little over two hours from both Sydney and Canberra. Transport is optional and can be arranged on request.
Can you work around dietary requirements?
Yes. They are designed for in advance rather than worked around at the table, and non-alcoholic drinks get the same attention as the rest of the list.
What is the ground like?
Lake David is a working rural setting. Uneven ground, outdoor fire and variable weather, and some parts of a booking involve walking on unmade surfaces.

Quoted for your group.
Each experience is quoted for your group, dates and agreed inclusions. Enquire for availability and a tailored proposal.
We host a small number of weekends a year, and our partners have their own lead times, so book further ahead than you think you need to.
If the fit is wrong, we will say so and suggest what would work better.
